The fine print.

  1. You: wait, is this a whole firm or one person?
  2. Anthony: One person. Me! I'm Anthony, a CPA. Small practice on purpose, so every client gets me directly, all year.
  3. You: my last accountant didn't understand brand deals or gifted stuff
  4. Anthony: That's exactly who I work with. Brand deals, subscriptions, affiliate income, UGC, merch, project payments. And yes, gifted product usually counts as income. I'll explain why, and what we do about it.
  5. You: what if I have a question in july
  6. Anthony: You text me. Clients get my actual phone number.
  7. You: ok how much
  8. Anthony: $200+/mo for bookkeeping, $300+/mo with tax, $500+/mo with advisory on top. Where you land depends on your setup (more entities, income from abroad, a messy prior year). You know your number before you commit.
  9. You: I'm not in your state tho
  10. Anthony: Usually fine. Tax is federal first. I file states where I'm licensed and team up with a local CPA where I'm not.
  11. You: what do you need from me to start
  12. Anthony: Last year's return, any 1099s or K-1s, and your books or a P&L if you have them. I handle the rest in onboarding.
  13. You: and if we're not a fit?
  14. Anthony: Then I'll say so, and point you to someone who is. I'd rather not take a client than misserve one.
  15. Anthony: Want to talk it through? First call is free, 30 minutes.

Your time is better spent elsewhere.

(I'll handle the numbers.)
