balogacpa
terms of use

The ground rules.

Effective October 13, 2026

The short version:

These terms apply to balogacpa.com, the free resources on it, and the BALOGA CPA client portal (together, the “site”), provided by Anthony Baloga, CPA (“BALOGA CPA,” “we,” “us”). By using the site, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Information, not advice

Articles, checklists, guides, and other content on the site are general information. They aren’t tax, accounting, legal, or financial advice for your specific situation, and tax rules change. Please don’t act on them without talking to a professional about your circumstances.

When we become your CPA

Booking a call, sending us a message, or using the site doesn’t create a CPA-client relationship. That begins only when we both sign an engagement letter. The engagement letter sets out the services, fees, and responsibilities for our work together, and if anything in these terms conflicts with it, the engagement letter controls.

The free 30-minute consultation is exactly that: free, with no obligation on either side.

Booking calls

Please give accurate contact details when you book. You can reschedule or cancel using the link in your confirmation email. We may decline or cancel bookings that look automated or abusive.

The client portal

Our content

The site’s content, design, and branding belong to BALOGA CPA. You’re welcome to use our free resources, like the bookkeeping checklist, for your own business. Please don’t republish or sell them without permission.

Other websites

The site links to services we don’t control, such as Stripe, QuickBooks, and Instagram. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

Disclaimers

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it’s provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, BALOGA CPA isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Liability for our professional services is governed by your engagement letter.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any dispute about them will be resolved in the courts of the State of New York.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives on this page, with its effective date at the top.
